I just got back from my little vacation with my husband on Tuesday and I definitely am still on vacation mode. Add in the torturous SF Giants games vs the Reds, getting back into the work groove...and my bout with infection due to those pesky Hawaiian insect bites...and I'm all kinds of flustered. Good and bad.
Things are a-changing on the "blogger" front. I'm spending more time at home and cooking at home. I'm no longer eating out as much. I'm just all up in the air. And I'm okay with that!
I did want to say that I still think about blogging a lot. I've been blogging on here for over 5 years and it would be a shame if I gave it up now. Maybe my friends at the Foodbuzz Festival next next week will re-inspire me!! I'm actually really excited because this would be my first time going as a baker-blogger rather than a event/restaurant-blogger. I never thought I would ever be in my kitchen as much as I have this past year.
And with that, I'll leave you with a photo collage of macarons I made for my cousin Roxanne's birthday. I was in Hawaii on her birthday and I felt so bad I couldn't be in California celebrating with her and the rest of the family, so I baked these for her prior to my departure.
