I DREAM About Vincotto

The first time I had Vincotto was at Beretta in San Francisco about 3 years ago. It was drizzled over "panna gelato" or a simple sweet cream gelato with no flavor. Vincotto is essentially slowly cooked and reduced grape must (juice, skin, seeds, etc). The final product is a sweet syrupy condiment that is perfect on gelato. God, if it were drizzled on panna cotta or pound cake or cardboard I'd eat it.

Does anyone know where I can get it?

I don't go to Beretta all the time, and the last time I went it wasn't there...so if you see it, let me know please!

I mean look at it! It's gorgeous!!
