Momma and I went to Westfield Centre's Food Emporium in SF to wait for my sis and cousins to finish shopping Downtown. As we were waiting, I ordered the Combo Platter from Catch Isle and it was pretty good. For $12, you get two pieces of fried shrimp, to pieces of fried fish, cole slaw, and parmesan fries. You can get plain fries for $1.25 less. I don't know if this platter will be a permanent item on their menu as it was only listed on a piece of paper taped to the main menu board.
The shrimp were huge and the fish was fresh. The cole slaw was under whelming. We were charmed by the fries, but we late had them plain and they were good as well. What I really liked were the sauces. You get cocktail sauce, tarter sauce, and a tangy cream sauce - it tasted like lemon was the main flavor component. This was my first time ordering at all from Catch Isle and I look forward to ordering from them again. When my sis and cousins came to join us, they finished what was left on the platter that we had and then they ordered their own. Yup, it was that great. They also had some pasta dishes like linguini and clams that looked great. Catch Isle doesn't have much on their website, but I think they are a great addition to the Food Emporium.
